Svenstol at the IRLS East Saxony
It thus ensures the safety of around 550,000 people in the district of Bautzen and the district of Görlitz. The East Saxony control centre coordinates the rescue service, qualified ambulance transport, alerts the fire brigade and all other non-police emergency response operations.
The dispatchers handle around 500 operations per day with approx. 3000 calls. Since 2021, the control centre dispatchers have been sitting on Svenstol 24-hour chairs.
