The Blue Angel ecolabel has been used to denote environmentally friendly products and services for more than 40 years. The logo can be found on everything from recycled paper to floor coverings and technical equipment. And now our 24-hour chairs also feature the Blue Angel label. This is something we are proud of as the logo is awarded by an independent institute that has extremely high certification standards. As well as taking classic environmental criteria such as low energy and resource consumption, and CO2 emissions into account, health aspects like low noise emissions are also prerequisites for products being allowed to carry the logo. All these criteria are evaluated in independent laboratories. This is where the materials we use to make our upholstery are tested, for example.

As StolComfort doesn’t use any harmful varnishes or substances in production, our chairs are ecologically sustainable and safe for users. The latter is particularly important to us as 24-hour chairs are designed for continuous use and have to withstand a variety of stresses and strains. Being awarded the Blue Angel ecolabel proves once again that quality, functionality and environmental protection do not have to be mutually exclusive.
