Svenstol at the Frankfurt Police

Frankfurt Police’s command and situation service has been using the Svenstol S5 24 hour chair in its control centre since 2019.

The Frankfurt am Main Police Headquarters is the largest of seven police authorities in the federal state of Hesse. With its four directorates for the Crime, Special Units/Special Forces, Special Services and Traffic Safety units, it is responsible for the Frankfurt urban area and its surroundings, including the airport and surrounding motorways.

Around 260,000 operations are coordinated and 211,000 emergency calls are received each year at the 17 workstations in total. If major incidents and major damage situations occur, the command and situation service’s responsibility extends beyond the city limits. A special command post is set up for these situations.
